Our 30,000 square foot facility is located in south Mississauga, with current and well-maintained machinery and staffed with a great team of working professionals. Ludvik Stajan (1927-2012)
Our Founder – Where It All Began.
It all began with our founder, Ludvik Stajan, who was a warm-hearted family man, with a unique ability to connect with anyone he encountered. After surviving World War II, Ludvik immigrated from Slovenia, in search of a better life here in Canada. He worked various jobs to provide for his young family, before finally building a small start up company called ABC Fire Door in 1968.
Ludvik was a business and community leader and a role model to many. He was a fair employer, who treated his staff like family, always showing compassion and humility. With the help of his son’s, and eventually his grandson’s, the Stajan family continued to expand and grow ABC Fire Door to become the industry leader that we see today. The current generation strives to ensure the values and legacy that Ludvik created continue to live on.
